On Wednesday, newly minted father and Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy went toe to toe with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in an epic showdown.
Doocy pushed KJP harder than usual when he blindsided her by asking why President Joe Biden is “afraid” of China. MIC DROP.
He argued that Biden’s inability to act swiftly on the Chinese spy balloons, and then refusing to hold the communist regime accountable for COVID-19’s origins, show that he is afraid of totalitarian country.
“Why is President Biden afraid of China?” Doocy asked Jean Pierre during the White House Press Conference.
She replied with a dry and unconvincing, “The president is not afraid of China.”
KJP added, “Did you see the president last week when we went to Ukraine, to Kyiv, this is not a president that’s afraid of anything. There was an historic trip that many of you said was brave, so clearly this is a president that is not afraid to go to a war zone, he’s not afraid to go there when there’s no military presence on the ground. So there is nothing this president fears.”
What a joke. Biden took a secret trip to Kyiv (during which he gave away more taxpayer money….shocker) and then didn’t give a press conference until he was safe in Poland. Yeah….real brave and historic.
The part of her statement that really made me laugh was the line, “There is nothing this president fears.” Miss Ma’am….I know you are not serious right now. If Biden were a groundhog and saw his shadow, we would be living in perpetual winter!
Doocy jumped back in during Jean-Pierre’s laughable argument and asserted, “China created something that has killed more than 1.1 million people in this country, and…Biden is not punishing them.”
Crickets….
