‘Excellent Job, Great President’: Pelosi, Schumer Urge Biden to Seek Re-election While Stuffing Face

On Thursday, outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi appeared with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in a CNN interview on “The Situation Room,” in which the duo praised President Joe Biden and rallied for him to seek reelection.

CNN’s Jamie Gangel began by noting a CNN poll “that just came out that shows there is little appetite on both sides for a Biden/Trump rematch in 2024,” and then asked the two if they think Biden “should step aside for a younger generation?”

Pelosi immediately started shaking her head and replied, “I think President Biden has done an excellent job as president of the United States. I hope that he does seek reelection. He’s been a great president.”

“Look at what he has accomplished,” Schumer interrupted. “A lot of people -”

Gangel interjected, “You think he should run again again?”

Schumer replied as Pelosi stuffs her face next to him, “Yeah. He has done an excellent, excellent job. And he runs, I’m going to support him all the way.”

It’s like listening to dumb and dumber, only this time their mouths are full!

They are talking about a man who literally cannot get through a single speech without suddenly forgetting where he is and slurring his words like a dementia patient after bar hopping. Although, maybe Pelosi is too busy tossing back vodka shots to notice when someone else is drunk.

Gagel also asked, “Right now, Donald Trump is the only Republican who is announced. He could be the nominee. He could be president again. You’ve been through the first presidency. You’ve been through January 6th. What would it mean if Donald Trump was re-elected president?”

Schumer shot back, “I don’t think it will happen. The American people have gotten wise to him. It took a little while, but they did.”

“I don’t think that we should talk about him while we’re eating,” Pelosi said and the duo laughed at her joke.

She added, “I think there is a need for an intervention there by his family or somebody. You know. I don’t think he is on the level, no.”
