On Tuesday, CNN political commentator Van Jones slammed former President Donald Trump for choosing “former hero” Hershel Walker as the Georgia Republican Senate nominee, whom he smeared as an “insult” to the black community.
Jones declared, “What I do know is this, tonight is about Georgia. And tonight is about Trump picking somebody who frankly used to be a hero – Herschel Walker used to be an inspiration, now it means insult. He’s an insult to the black community. What you may see tonight is people coming out, not just to vote in favor of a senator they love but just to vote against Donald Trump picking somebody like this and throwing this person at the voters in Georgia. Like you’ll just pick anybody who is black.”
They got Van Jones to say prolife black Americans are “an insult to the black community”.

“His judgment, Trump’s judgment tonight, is going to be, I think, called into question by a lot of people. And I think that when you have a situation where it’s obvious that Trump, he was a little too clever by half. ‘I know, I’m going to put a black guy against a black guy,’ but the guy he picked was the wrong black guy,” he continued.
Political commentator Ashley Allison chimed in, “I think if you are Herschel Walker, you are an insult to the black voters of Georgia. And honestly, I mean, I’m not a Republican, but it would be an insult to me as a Republican to think that this is the type of person that I actually want to send to the United States Senate.”

So, to the left, a black man who is a Conservative is an insult because it’s unimaginable that he could use his brain to form his own opinion that contradicts theirs. Let that sink in. A black man that does not go along with the liberal agenda is a worthless to the Democratic Party. How sad.
Even more sad is the fact that Warnock, a racist Reverend who supports the murder of babies in the womb, won the election by the skin of his teeth. I think the rats on the left were worried about losing their suppressive footing in the black community so they pulled the defamation card in hopes of swaying voters.
Breitbart reports:
Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) will keep his seat in Washington after defeating Republican Herschel Walker on Tuesday in the runoff race for U.S. Senate in Georgia.
…
Warnock’s victory comes after the Georgia Democrat narrowly beat Walker by less than one percent in the general election but did not cross the 50 percent threshold required by state law to win the race outright.
Walker, a University of Georgia football legend and former NFL player, had from the outset of his campaign faced an uphill climb against Warnock, a well-funded senior pastor of Atlanta’s historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.
As a longtime Georgia resident, I am sad to see just how nasty things have become.
