ARIZONA: Maricopa County Official Colluded With Twitter To ‘Censor Election Information’ – Report

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer reportedly collaborated with the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Twitter to combat election-related “misinformation” and “disinformation” in the heat of the 2022 Arizona election cycle, new documents reveal.

According to CISA documents marked “confidential” and subsequently revealed by Trump 2024 attorney and election integrity advocate Christina Bobb on Wednesday, Richer played an integral role in a CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee (CSAC) Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Misinformation & Disinformation Subcommittee meeting held on March 29, 2022.

The purpose of the meeting, according to CISA documentation, was for Richer to brief members on “current election processes and needs among election officials” and to discuss the federal agency’s role in the misinformation and disinformation “space,” which they dubbed “MDM.”

Top CISA officials also briefed members on “CISA’s current election-specific actions to combat” misinformation and disinformation on the internet.

The meeting was chaired by University of Washington’s Dr. Kate Starbird and featured participants including then-Twitter censorship Czar Vijaya Gadde, various CISA officials, and individuals within the Maricopa County Recorder’s office.

“Well look at what we found!! Turns out @CISAgov has been collaborating with Maricopa County @stephen_richer to censor election information and keeping it from the public. Notice it’s marked FOUO. Richer also started a Super PAC to take down ‘election deniers'” Bobb tweeted on Wednesday, referring to Maricopa County election Supervisor Chairman Bill Gates and Richer’s in 2021 political action committee (PAC) aimed at prevent pro-election integrity candidates from taking office in Arizona.

“We know @CISAgov worked with Big Tech to alter the narrative around elections. This proves they were doing it with the intent to keep their activities hidden from the public. @stephen_richer cooperated with a federal agency cooperating with Big Tech to manipulate elections…” she added.

Along with Richer, Twitter CEO Elon Musk revealed in the “Twitter Files” last week that Arizona Secretary of State and now Governor-elect Katie Hobbs, through the SOS office, had been ordering the social media giant to censor “election related misinformation” to her benefit.

Hobbs, sitting alongside Republican Governor Doug Ducey and Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich, certified the results of the 2022 election despite mounting reports of widespread voting issues, Republican disenfranchisement, and abuses of power leading up to, on, and after Election Day, Freedom Talk reported Monday.
