Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey and Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich have officailly sided with the Democrats in certifying the results of the state’s controversial 2022 election — marking the first step in thrusting Arizona Democrat Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs into power despite mounting reports of widespread voting issues, Republican disenfranchisement, and egregious abuses of power leading up to, on, and after Election Day.
As more and more time passes since the national debacle that was Election Day in Arizona, facts about how poorly the election was managed, to the dismay of hopeful Republicans, continue to arise outside of the corporate press’ information monopoly.
When the polls first opened in the early morning on November 8, 2022, reports of misprinted ballots and widespread voting issues began to surface in Maricopa County.
Valiant News Associate Editor Jack Hadfield reported on the evidence as it occured in live time:
Tyler Bowyer, the COO of Turning Point Action, tweeted on Tuesday showing his experience when attempting to vote in Maricopa County, revealing that his ballot had been severely misprinted. “The reader rejected it, and had we not inspected the ballot before voting we likely would have been told just to leave the ballot behind,” Bower said.
After speaking to the Poll Chief at the polling station, who reprinted a new ballot for Bower, she said that the misprinting was an “ongoing issue” with the printers at the station.
Additional Election Day reports found that roughly 20% of polling locations in Arizona’s most densely populated county were experiencing issues with tabulation machines.
The phenomena resulted in long lines of mostly Republican voters, who waited hours to exercise their constitutionally protected right to vote as election workers failed to provide immediate and adequate explanations, nor any substantial remedies.
An indeterminable number voters left those lines due to the hours-long waits and technical issues, sounding the alarms for election integrity advocates in the state and throughout the nation as the election began to look similar to those in corrupt third world countries.
Weeks later, the number was revealed to be closer to 48%, close to half of all voting centers in Maricopa County. But not before mainstream media outlets officially called the gubernatorial race for Hobbs — who also happens to be the person in charge of managing the state’s elections.
Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who was initially projected to take the governorship by storm, stood by the voters of Arizona and elevated their voices in the weeks ahead, as they took to the internet to testify about their experiences with voting issues, irregularities, and other discrepancies on Election Day.
In addition to Maricopa County, it was later revealed that 32% of all tabulation machines across the entire state of Arizona “failed” on Election Day.
To make matters worse, the Maricopa County election Supervisor Chairman Bill Gates and Recorder Stephen Richer in 2021 started a political action committee (PAC) to prevent pro-election integrity candidates from taking office.
Perhaps conveniently, the Gates-Richer PAC was targeting prospective candidates with the similar political views as Lake, the Republican frontrunner for Arizona’s gubernatorial contest.
Despite reports of Election Day technological and voting failures by scores of voters who felt as if they were disenfranchised, Maricopa County’s partisan board ultimately certified what many believe to be fraudulent election results.
Election integrity proponents saw a glimpse of hope after the election debacle when other counties like Mohave and Cochise attempted to push back the certification date in order to validate the results, citing the issues from Maricopa.
However, using her power as the Arizona Secretary of State, Hobbs’ office threatened Mohave County officials with criminal penalties and potentially even jail time if they did not ignore the issues and certify her as the winner — highlighting a glaring and brazen conflict of interest.
Freedom Talk reported last week:
Two members of the Mohave County board stated that they feel as if they are voting to certify the election results “under duress” after Hobbs’ office threatened that they would “be arrested and charged with a felony” if they didn’t adhere to her demands, board chairman Ron Gould said.
“We believe that Mohave County voters were disenfranchised by the problems that they had in Maricopa County,” Gould said in a Wednesday interview on Real America’s Voice.
“Their mistakes are bigger than our entire county vote, and I think it’s disenfranchised the rural voters across the state, not to mention that it disenfranchises Maricopa County voters and Republican voters, in particular, who are more likely to cast their ballot at the poll” on Election Day, Gould added.
“So any problems at the poll affect Republicans more than they would affect Democrats.”
As all the counties fell in line with the demands and threats from the Secretary of State’s office, a new development at Twitter thrust the integrity of the Arizona election into further question, as Twitter CEO Elon Musk revealed in the “Twitter Files” that Hobbs’ office had been ordering the social media giant to censor “election related misinformation” to her benefit.
“Unreal! Katie Hobbs’s office contacts Twitter to have posts removed! So, the democrat candidate, who ran the AZ election, censored her political opponents, disrupted Election Day votes, and then threatened counties with prosecution if they didn’t declare her the winner,” tweeted One America News host and election integrity advocate Christina Bobb.
The Twitter revelations drew the ire of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who declared that Hobbs “can not be governor” of Arizona and accused the official of colluding with Twitter to “unconstitutionally violate 1st Amendment rights of Americans for her own political gain.”
“This is communism and Hobbs can not be governor. I’m calling for a Federal investigation,” Rep. Greene said.
Despite the uphill battle she faces to receive justice over the botched election, Lake previously stressed that upon certification she will take legal action and keep fighting for the voters of Arizona.
“Maricopa County just couldn’t wait to certify their botched election — the botched election where half of Election Day voting centers were inoperable, the botched election where Election Day printers caused mayhem across the county, the botched election where Arizonans were expected to wait in line two, three, four, even five hours simply to exercise their sacred right to vote,” Lake said in a message posted to Twitter on November 28.
“Arizonans were told to throw their vote into a drawer, where it might ultimately end up in a plastic bin or a trash bag. Maricopa County, where it took two weeks to count, is the poster child for broken and botched elections. But if you bring up any of these issues, you’re labeled an ‘election denier’ or a ‘conspiracy theorist.’ They don’t want us talking about our shotty elections under any circumstances,” she said.
“I’m working with a team of patriotic, talented lawyers on a legal case to challenge the botched elections. My team and I realize how important this case is and what is at stake. We will file this case in accordance with Arizona state law,” Lake added.
“Our case moves forward with these sham certifications. In fact, state statute requires certification before our case can move forward,” Lake said.
