According to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia will be getting an “unpleasant surprise” soon, in regards to their invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing war since then.
If he is planning some sort of attack, why would he reveal his hand by warning Russia? Zelensky isn’t the smartest cookie in the jar.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly made an ominous statement regarding the future of the Ukraine war, saying that the invading Russians will soon experience an “unpleasant surprise” regarding the conflict.
It comes as the current Russian offensive against the city of Bakhmut appears to falter slightly, with forces loyal to the Putin administration now engaged in significant political infighting over preferential treatment and the availability of vital ammo supplies.
According to a report by Euronews, it is in this climate that Zelensky is planning a counterattack against the invading forces, though he kept the exact timing and nature of the planned assault close to his chest.
“I am not ready to communicate with you, to say when we will be advancing,” Zelensky said. “Because to some extent, this prepares the enemy. And therefore, I would like it to be an unpleasant surprise, not the other way around.”
While he did not elaborate on what the nature of the “surprise” would be, he made it clear that he believes it will be effective.
“I think we will achieve the appropriate result,” he continued, noting that the couldn’t confirm if this would guarantee “full sovereignty of Ukraine” restored by the end.
Zelensky said, “I can’t say that yet, because it’s a war.”
Such a confident statement from Zelensky comes after Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin — one of Russia’s most important assets in Ukraine — appeared to attack Russian President Vladimir Putin in a video uploaded online by the paramilitary organisation.
In the footage, derided an unnamed senior official within the Russian government as a “happy grandfather” who “thinks that he is good” but really is a “complete asshole”.
As long as it doesn’t cost another dime from American taxpayers, I couldn’t care less about Ukraine and Russia going at it. Zelenksy needs to figure out his own war and stop begging the United States for support.
Although I doubt that will stop as long as President Joe Biden continues to send him everything he asks for.
Just yesterday, Zelensky stated that he is still “expecting some things” as far as weapons and supplies go. Keyword there being “expecting.” He EXPECTS the U.S. to continue doing charity work for him.
1) While the American public were distracted from the overload of happenings; Zelensky quietly snuck in that the much anticipated and publicized “counter offensive”, is delayed AGAIN. Claiming they still need more equipment.
