On Wednesday, Democrat Representative Adam Schiff appeared on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” and panicked over Facebook parent company Meta reinstating former President Donald Trump’s personal account after he was suspended for two years following the Capital riot on January 6, 2021.
He claims that the social media platform is only reinstating Trump’s account for “profit” because they care about money more than the “public interest.”
Anchor Joy Reid said, “Donald Trump is the only announced Republican candidate so far for president. He has just been given back access to his Facebook and Instagram accounts.”
Schiff replied, “I think Facebook’s decision to reinstate Donald Trump is inexplicable. It represents, in my view, a total caving in and copping out. The only motive I can see is a profit motive here.”
He continued, “If you look at what Donald Trump has been posting on his own social media platform, all of that violates Facebook’s policies. He’s continued to give aid and comfort to those who committed acts of insurrection. He’s continuing to spread the big lie. And the idea that somehow he would not do that on Facebook when he’s doing it on his own platform, to me, is a tragic decision by a company that is putting its profit above the public interest.”
Reid added, “They have said they believe the threat has passed, which seems ludicrous.”

Their absolute incompetence is almost applaudable at this point. Either they truly are this ignorant or they are great actors.
People did not show up to the Capital because Trump asked them to. They showed up because Americans are tired of the lies. They went to protest the incredibly unfair, dishonesty of the 2020 election.
Trump was never a threat. Even during the so-called insurrection, Trump publicly told people to be peaceful and go home. He never encouraged any type of violence or chaos.

No matter what nonsense lies the left pushes, we know the truth. Trump was never a threat to public interest. He was only a threat the swamp creatures of D.C.
