Newsmax host Eric Bolling sat down with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during a recent interview, in which he asked DeSantis if he would be willing to serve as vice president under Donald Trump.
The governor was not amused by the idea. He replied, “I think I’m probably more of an executive guy.”
DeSantis continued, “I think that you want to be able to do things. That’s part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action.”
Bolling then asked if DeSantis would choose Trump to be his vice presidential nominee if he were to become the Republican presidential nominee.
DeSantis then awkwardly laughed and stated that the question was “interesting speculation.”

The Gateway Pundit reports:
Immediately after Bolling’s interview with DeSantis, the Newsmax Host then invited former Trump advisor Sebastian Gorka on the program to respond to DeSantis’ comments.
Sebastian Gorka stated DeSantis’ recent interview spree has been “a bloody embarrassment.”
He then took a major shot at DeSantis and said, “And now he shows us how big his ego is with you and says, “Oh, VP? No, no no. I’m an executive.’ I guess being the second in line to the presidency, it’s just not good enough for Ron.”

Personally, I think that DeSantis makes a phenomenal governor. He has done great things in the Sunshine State. However, I simply do not see him running the entire country. I don’t think he quite has what it takes to sit in the Oval Office.
I think DeSantis would make a better candidate than many people. I do not see him as a better candidate than Trump though.
This country absolutely thrived under the former president, and I think we could certainly have another four years of flourishing with him as president again.
