Graham on Drone Collision: ‘Reagan Would Start Shooting Russian Planes Down’

On Tuesday, Senator Lindsey Graham appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” to discuss the alleged Russian jet and U.S. drone collision over the Black Sea, near Crimea, that happened earlier in the day.

In his argument, he asked how former President Ronald Reagan would have handled the situation, and called on the Biden administration to take a stronger approach with Russia.

“They shot down our drone. What should our answer be?” Hannity asked.

“Well, we should hold them accountable and say that if you ever get near another U.S. flying in international waters, your airplane would be shot down,” Graham replied. “What would Ronald Reagan do right now? He would start shooting Russian planes down if they were threatening our assets.”

“American foreign policy is in free fall. I can’t add much to what you’ve said,” the South Carolina Senator continued. “All I can tell you is that on multiple fronts. We’re in a dangerous situation. Weakness breeds provocation. The spy balloon over the United States shooting down an American drone, multi-million dollar drone, they know they can get away with it. Mexico is blaming us for the fentanyl crisis, and Joe Biden is like a deer in the headlights. He needs to up his game quickly.”

WATCH:

Graham is right. I think Russia shot down the jet to see just how far they can push the boundaries with President Joe Biden before there is a response. The world already sees the United States is weakened under the rule of Biden. Russia, and other countries like China, will continue to toe the line unless swift action is taken.

Biden MUST set an example of what we will accept, and this is not something we can accept. He already messed up with allowing the Chinese spy balloon float across our country for an entire week before shooting it down. He HAS to show a strong hand NOW, or this will be the least of our problems.
