If there is one thing I know, Dr. Anthony Fauci has been a rat from the beginning. I did not trust him at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, and I certainly do not trust him now. I am not sure that man has a single honest bone in his body.
On Saturday, Fauci appeared on CNN and played the “what if” game with host Jim Acosta, in an attempt to downplay the “lab leak theory” and cover his tail after being busted for bribing medical experts.
Fauci argued that the coronavirus outbreak could still be considered a “natural occurrence” IF the lab leak is defined as a person infected in the wild was brought into the lab and studied there, and then released from the lab.
He argued that the experiments persformed in the Wuhan lab were not responsible for the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
“A lab leak could be that someone was out in the wild, maybe looking for different types of viruses in bats, got infected, went into a lab, and was being studied in a lab, and then came out of the lab. But if that’s the definition of lab leak, then that’s still a natural occurrence,” Fauci said.
He then played another “what if” version, and claimed that the virus could have gotten out of the lab by accident after being taken from the environment.
“The other possibility is someone takes a virus from the environment that doesn’t actually spread very well in humans and manipulates it a bit, and accidentally it escapes or accidentally infects someone, and then you get an outbreak. Those are the possibilities when you’re talking about lab leaks,” he said.
“There are no lab leaks that have led to pandemics, so there have been accidents in the lab. That happens intermittently. We’ve had experiences with that in modern times, recently, but there has never been a situation where a virus escaped from a lab that’s a brand-new virus that no one has ever seen before that led to a pandemic. That has not happened,” Fauci added.

Sounds to me like he is doing all he can to cover his own butt after he was busted earlier this month by the GOP-led Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. They released a memo called “New Evidence Resulting from the Select Subcommittee’s Investigation into the Origins of COVID-19 – ‘The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2′” which had evidence pointing to Fauci being behind the drafting of ‘Proximal Origins’ in an effort to silence the lab leak theory.
Former CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield testified, confirming that he was excluded by Fauci in early February 2020 after he suggested that the virus was leaked from a Wuhan lab because it did not act like a naturally occurring SARS virus.
Dr. Redfield also believed the lab leak theory, and was therefore excluded by Fauci in phone calls early on, as he convinced other experts to side with him with bribes of millions of dollars in research grants.
