As President Joe Biden’s age and health continue to decline, and hang in perpetual concern for most voters, the 80-year-old world leader reveals that he is tired of hearing about it.
According to a report from Politico on Tuesday, Biden “vented to allies” and declared that despite the talk surrounding his age, he expects to run for another presidential term.
“You think I don’t know how f–ing old I am?” he asked.
To be fair, I actually do not think he knows how old he is. Most days, I think he is doing well to even remember his own name.
New York Post reports:
An October survey found that 64% of Americans, including 50% of Democrats, said they were “concerned” about Biden’s mental health after a ghastly incident when he tried to recognize Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) during an event — forgetting she had died in a car accident weeks earlier.
That same month, Biden himself acknowledged during an interview that his age is a “legitimate” issue.
“I think it’s a legitimate thing to be concerned about anyone’s age, including mine,” Biden told MSNBC during the interview. “And I think the best way to make the judgment is to watch me. Am I slowing up? Do I have the same pace?”
He also told viewers that he feels like he actually closer to 50-years-old rather than 80-years-old.
IssuesInsight also reported on recent polls, which show over 60% of voters are concerned with Biden’s age:
In early August, we asked Americans: “Some people are concerned about President Biden’s mental health. How concerned are you about President Biden’s mental health?” At the time, a number of public displays of unsteadiness, confusion, and verbal gaffes seen in the media suggested to many that the nation’s commander in chief’s mental acuity was questionable.
For instance, 59% overall said they were worried about his mental health. The responses included 82% of Republicans, 56% of independents, but just 39% of Democrats.
We asked the same question in our most recent online poll of 1,376 adults across the country taken from October 5-7, with a margin of error of 2.8 percentage points. This time, the overall number grew to 64%, or nearly two-thirds of all voters.
Retired neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson spoke out about Biden’s angry outbursts. He told Daily Caller the president is showing early signs of dementia.
“That’s so typical of people in early stages of decline, to become aggressive and very defensive about who they are,” Carson explained. “It tells you that they know a little bit about what’s going on. They don’t want you to know.”
