CCP Warns Elon Musk Not to Speak on Wuhan Lab Leak Theory

Communist China is scared of Elon Musk and the information he has access to, that much is apparent after they threatened him not to address the coronavirus lab leak theory, as it may affect his future business dealings in the country.

Over the weekend, a Twitter account known as “Kanekoa The Great” questioned whether former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, played a part in creating COVID-19. A question many of us have been asking for the last few years…

“Dr. Anthony Fauci funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, lied to Congress about it, and now both the FBI & the Department of Energy have concluded that the coronavirus originated at the Wuhan lab. Does that mean Dr. Anthony Fauci funded the development of COVID-19?” the account asked.

Musk replied, “He did it via a pass-through organization (EcoHealth).”

EcoHealth is a nonprofit group that was granted $8 million in federal research grants by Fauci’s institution. What were those grants for? You guessed it: studying bat coronaviruses in China.

Musk did not divulge a breakdown of details, but pointed people in the right direction…. and China did not like that. Nor were they taking the chance of him leaving another breadcrumb.

The communist country replied to Musk’s comment in a social media post from the CCP-controlled Global Times, which described the Twitter CEO as a right-wing extremist and warned him that if he addressed the lab leak theory, he would be biting the hand that feeds him, as he has a Tesla factory campus in Shanghai.

“Judging from public information and past media reports, Musk himself has actually been moving closer to these right-wing forces in the United States in recent years,” the post translated. “He has been dealing with many domestic and foreign issues such as racism issues, gender issues, and Russia-Ukraine conflict issues in the United States.”

“In fact, he has shown a tendency to endorse these right-wing conservative values. He himself seems to enjoy the feeling of being sought after by the American right-wing forces and ‘carrying the sedan chair.’ Therefore, on the issue of the source of the new crown virus, he will naturally mix with these people,” they continued.

The post added that if Musk continues to talk on the subject, he could be “breaking the pot of China,” which roughly translates to “biting the hand that feeds you,” according to CNBC’s Eunice Yoon.

Musk is not the only one China has to worry about looking into the coronavirus lab leak theory. Just last week, FBI Director Christopher Wray admitted the theory holds merit and it has only gained traction since then.

“The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan,” Wray revealed on Fox News. “Here you are talking about a potential leak from a Chinese government-controlled lab.”

“I will just make the observation that the Chinese government, it seems to me, has been doing its best to try to thwart and obfuscate the work here, the work that we’re doing, the work that our U.S. government and close foreign partners are doing. And that’s unfortunate for everybody,” he added.
