45th President Donald Trump railed against the perceived unfairness of the Fox News network and website today, questioning whether its founder is truly a conservative, in the wake of Murdoch’s statements that seem to throw network personalities under the bus in an ongoing defamation lawsuit.
Trump made the statements as part of a larger series of attacks against Rupert Murdoch, who said in court documents that his Fox News employees spread false claims about the alleged theft of the 2020 election on his network.
Trump wrote that if “Murdoch honestly believes that the Presidential Election of 2020” was not stolen, “then he & his group of MAGA Hating Globalist RINOS should get out of the News Business as soon as possible.”
The 45th President said that, otherwise, Murdoch is “aiding & abetting the DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA with FAKE NEWS,” before describing those hosts under fire for advancing theories about voting machines stealing votes as “brave” and “patriotic.”

The spat between Trump and Murdoch comes after court documents revealed the media mogul believes he should have been “stronger in denouncing” theories advanced by Trump and his Fox News allies related to Dominion Voting Systems.
“Why is Rupert Murdoch throwing his anchors under the table, which also happens to be killing his case and infuriating his viewers, who will again be leaving in droves – they already are,” Trump opined on Truth Social yesterday.
Text messages and court documents reveal that senior Fox News executives did not believe the claims advanced by Trump and his allies, but allowed hosts to cover the topic, seemingly due to fears they would lose Trump’s supporters as viewers after the network was first to call Arizona for Joe Biden.
After Fox News declared the state for Trump, Murdoch relayed, “My friend Jared Kushner called me saying, ‘This is terrible,’ and I could hear Trump’s voice in the background shouting,” according to the BBC.
Once the race was called for Biden, Murdoch claimed the network was “very busy pivoting” and declared, “We want to make Trump a non person.”
