Pfizer has just announced that they submitted an application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requesting that the agency green light an emergency use authorization for their “updated” COVID-19 vaccine booster shot in children ages 5 to 11.
In what would now be many Americans fifth dose of the controversial mRNA injection, confusion initially ensued when the White House appeared to deny that the new “bivalent” Omicron strain-specific vaccine was a third “booster shot,” and instead referred to it as an “updated vaccine.”
The Big Pharma titan maintains that the latest shot is an “updated COVID-19 booster” shot, and both the U.S. government and the company urge all Americans to receive it in order to stay “up to date” on their immunizations.

In light of Pfizer’s move to see that young American children continue to be injected with the COVID-19 vaccines, new research conducted at UNC Chapel Hill recently revealed that children ages 5 to 11 years old experienced a “rapid” decline in COVID-19 immunity after receiving the shots throughout a period of five months.
The data could suggest that vaccine use may lower the body’s ability to naturally defend itself from COVID-19, thus creating the potential for an indefinite dependence on booster jabs to prevent infection. However, the data is from correspondence with the journal and does not represent peer reviewed research.
“We indeed observed rapid waning of vaccine effectiveness against omicron in children,” co-author of the NEJM study, Dr. Danyu Lin told Valiant News, advising that “the data were very sparse at the end, so there was great uncertainty at the tail of the curve.”
House Republicans are currently planning to spearhead a move to end the special governmental powers granted by the COVID-19 national emergency declaration in response to President Joe Biden’s declaration that “the pandemic is over” during an interview with 60 Minutes earlier this month.
Despite Biden’s claim that the pandemic is officially over, his administration continues to use the national emergency declaration to push for billions of dollars for vaccines, clinical trials, testing, and other COVID-related expenses.
