Earlier this week, we learned that President Joe Biden left classified documents from when he was Vice President in his old office at the Biden Penn Center. The roughly ten documents, which related to Ukraine and Iran, were found by his personal attorneys while going through his paperwork.
Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) is calling for Biden to be impeached over his negligent mishandling of the classified documents. She noted the extreme difference in how the FBI is handling this matter versus how they raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home when there was a claim that he removed classified documents from the White House.
“This is a very serious situation. Vice presidents cannot declassify documents. And the fact that Joe Biden is in possession of classified documents when he was vice president, signals we need to have a serious investigation into this,” Greene explained during an interview with C-Span.
“There is a true two tier justice system stemming from the department of justice in the way President Trump has been treated — who is allowed to classify and declassify documents. Presidents can do that,” she continued. “I’ll echo again, impeach Biden.”
Many others are pointing out the double standards of how the Department of Justice is treating Biden versus Trump, including Trump himself.
He wrote on his Truth Social account asking if the FBI was going to raid Biden’s home as well.
“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House,” Trump said. “These documents were definitely not declassified.”
Rep. Elise Stefanik also raised the question of why the FBI hasn’t raided the University of Pennsylvania, similarly to its raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
“Where is the FBI raid on the Joe Biden crime family after the revelations that he stole classified materials while serving as Vice President and stored these documents at Biden’s ‘think tank’ that has received over $50 million in Chinese gifts?” Stefanik reportedly told Breitbart News. “The American people do not trust Joe Biden’s FBI and Department of Justice who have consistently tipped the scale of justice to fulfill their political ambitions and attack their political opponents. Joe Biden and his corrupt DOJ must be held accountable.”
Democrats tried every trick and loophole and lie they could to impeach and discredit Trump. Yet they sweep Biden and his sins under the rug.
