Lebron James Says Free Speech ‘Is Scary AF’ In Twitter Meltdown Over Elon Musk

Basketball player LeBron James, who has started this NBA season with an 0-5 record as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, offered up his opinion on the Constitutional provision of free speech being “scary AF” this week.

James, who is frequently mocked for making inflammatory statements about news events about which he has little to zero knowledge of, took to Twitter on Saturday to express his fear of free expression.

The basketball players retweeted a news article complaining about more “hate speech” following El0n Musk’s acquisition of Twitter on Saturday, along with the caption, “I dont know Elon Musk and, tbh, I could care less who owns twitter. But I will say that if this is true, I hope he and his people take this very seriously because this is scary AF.”

“So many damn unfit people saying hate speech is free speech,” James protested.

James’ assertion that the right to free expression should be curtailed “very seriously” was widely panned by many Twitter users.

As Valiant New previously reported, African-American tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has officially completed his Twitter Inc takeover, and his first act of owner of the Big Tech social media platform was to fire CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Sagal.

Perhaps most notably, Musk also fired the site’s head of “trust and safety,” Vijaya Gadde, who made the decision to deplatform 45th president of the United States Donald Trump.

Gadde also participated in the censorship of a New York Post story about Hunter Biden’s laptop just days before the 2020 presidential election, a move that many critics say was calculated to help Democrat candidate Joe Biden.
