Fourth Train Derailment in Michigan, Also Carrying ‘Hazardous Materials’

On February 3, a train carrying extremely toxic chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. On February 10, there was a “controlled release” of the chemicals, which created an ecological disaster, comparable to Chernobyl according to experts.

On February 13, a second train derailed near Houston, Texas. It was carrying hazardous materials.

On February 13, a third trail derailed in Enoree, South Carolina. Investigation is still underway on the cars contents.

February 16, a fourth train derailed near Detroit, Michigan….and, you guessed it, it was carrying hazardous chemicals.

Fox News Detroit reports:

A train derailed in Van Buren Twp on Thursday, prompting police to urge everyone to avoid the area. The good news, police say, is that nothing hazardous has been released from the train’s containers.

Authorities are asking residents to avoid the area of Huron River Drive and Haggerty due to a railroad accident investigation. Both north and southbound traffic is blocked due to the incident, which happened just south off I-94 and west of Belleville.

Roads will be closed for a few hours, the Van Buren Police Department said.

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell released a statement that she had been in contact with the local government.

“We are also in touch with the relevant federal authorities, including the EPA,” she said. “At this time no one is aware of the release of any hazardous materials, the car carrying hazardous material has been put upright and is being removed from the area of the other derailed cars, and EPA is dispatching a team to ensure public safety.

What is going on? Four train derailments, all trains carrying chemicals, on the matter of two weeks? There is no way this is a coincidence!!

Railroad companies have been ignoring their workers, ignoring the unions, using funds for everything BUT updating infrastructure and machines, trying to downsize their employees, trying to make it illegal for workers to protest….

Are the railroads and their failure to run safely to blame here? Or is there something more sinister at work?
