Fetterman Campaign Releases Memo Instructing Media: Vote Count ‘Takes Several Days’

The John Fetterman campaign released a memo this morning, informing its media allies that counting ballots cast by Pennsylvanians “takes several days” and thus voters should expect a long delay before they know if the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania will be Fetterman or Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Fetterman’s camp warned of a “long week” and a “process that takes several days” in a statement that also “lashes out at Mastriano, Tucker, Trump, Ted Cruz” for calling for election integrity.

According to a campaign memo purportedly sent to media and posted to Twitter by Jack Posobiec, warnings about election integrity and long vote counts from 45th President Donald Trump, gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Oz are proof that Republicans will attempt to challenge their eventual loss in that state.

“Buckle up for a long week,” the Fetterman campaign’s memo to media concluded, “This race is close, and we should all be prepared for a process that takes several days before all eligible votes are properly counted  and the results are clear.”

Posobiec then posted screen shots he claims show the entirety of the memo.

It reveals that Fetterman’s campaign manager, Brendan McPhillips, gave the media instructions on “what to prepare for” on election night, then wrote at least 14 paragraphs of instructions for the media.

Local officials maintain that Trump lost Pennsylvania in the 2020 election, though he challenged that alleged loss vigorously, both in court and the court of public opinion, and maintains to this day that the election was stolen from him.

Fetterman, meanwhile, comes off a remarkably terrible debate performance that left even his allies admitting it did not earn him votes.

Oz, however, remains bruised by a difficult primary system that saw Republican leaders and Trump choose him over outsider candidate Kathy Burnette, who waged an insurgent campaign to the right of Trump’s endorsed candidate.

Now, Oz is dogged by accusations that he is too wealthy and owns a home in New Jersey.
