Parents across the nation were targeted by their own government following a September 29, 2021 letter sent by the National School Board Association to Merrick Garland and Joe Biden. Garland responded with the now infamous October 4 memo devoting federal resources under the Patriot Act and a terrorist threat tag to pursue concerned parents as so-called domestic terrorists. A number of concerned parents have suffered arrest, fines, and even incarceration for exercising their First Amendment rights to question policies deeply affecting their children’s education, religious freedom, as well as mental and physical health. Parents have reported that instead of giving answers to address their concerns, school boards and administrators had parents ‘trespassed’ and arrested. In lock step, federal, state, and local authorities have been caught monitoring, intimidating, and politically prosecuting parents.

It is time to vindicate targeted parents and investigate those who weaponized the government against them. This page is dedicated to bringing restitution to those families victimized by this attack on concerned parents.
We are looking for parents who were unjustly targeted or intimidated for coming to the defense of or protection of their (or another parent’s) children.
We are particularly interested in those stories that resulted in harm (arrests, fines, banning from school grounds, etc.) and in particular stories that have documentation (i.e. texts, emails, records, photos, videos, including exculpatory evidence.)
We are seeking an executive order on the way to restitution for those parents.

- Arrested, trespassed, or unfairly treated by law enforcement
- Fined
- Jailed
- Excluded, silenced, or kicked out of school board meetings or schools
- Labeled as an “extremist,” “domestic terrorist,” or similar
- Monitored, profiled, and/or placed on a watchlist

- Fired or disciplined at work or in military service
- Suffered damage to or loss of business
- Suffered loss of family relationships and friendships
